registration terms & conditions

Australian Energy Producers ACN 000 292 713 organises seminars and other events by industry experts to share knowledge and build understanding about the complex energy industry. These terms and conditions apply to all delegates and attendees that register for any seminar or other event.

All registration fees must be paid in full prior to the event (click here for event dates) to guarantee and confirm registration. Once payment has been received, an email confirmation and receipt will be provided. If payment is not made at the time a registration is lodged, then registration will be deemed provisional and Australian Energy Producers reserves the right to deal with such registrations in its absolute discretion, including by cancelling them without notice. 

No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after the close of business, 10 business days before the scheduled start date of a seminar. Business day means every day of a week with the exception of Saturday, Sunday or any public holiday in Australia. Should a delegate be unable to attend the event, then a substitute delegate or attendee is welcome at no extra charge on condition that Australian Energy Producers are notified in writing via email to events@energyproducers.au at least 24 hours ahead of the seminar commencing and provides full and correct information required for registration of that substitute delegate or attendee. 

All changes and cancellations must be made in writing to events@energyproducers.au. No changes or cancellations will be accepted verbally.

Delegates or attendees must abide by the health, safety and security measures put in place by Australian Energy Producers, and the provider of the venue, for the event including by providing full and accurate information on registration. Subject to applicable law (including the Australian Consumer Law), Australian Energy Producers reserves the right (acting reasonably) to prohibit entry of any person to an Australian Energy Producers event, or eject any person from an Australian Energy Producers event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate, unacceptable or unreasonable by Australian Energy Producers staff and/or its agents and others working under its authority. 

Australian Energy Producers reserves the right to change or alter the published program and postpone the date for an event at any time. If this occurs, Australian Energy Producers will use reasonable endeavours to ensure a program of equivalent standard is provided and will notify all delegates or attendees of the change. Subject to applicable law including the relevant provisions of the Australian Consumer Law, the liability of each party for all claims and losses arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions, other than for breach of confidentiality or copyright, will be limited to the amount equal to the registration fees paid by the delegate or attendee. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for any loss, damages, costs, indirect or consequential damages for breaches of these terms and conditions. 

Any views expressed by speakers remain at all times their own personal views. Subject to applicable law, Australian Energy Producers does not accept liability for any advice given, or views expressed by any speaker at any seminar or other event or in relation to any materials provided to delegates or attendees.  Delegates or attendees must not record the audio and/or visual content of any seminar or other event without express consent from the Australian Energy Producers and any breach of this provision will be a breach of copyright as well as a breach of these terms and conditions.

Delegates or attendees should advise Australian Energy Producers of any special access requirements at the time of registration. 

All delegates or attendees are advised that Australian Energy Producers may take photographs and/or video footage of any individuals attending the event for future promotional purposes and as a condition of registering for the event you consent to the taking of any photographs and video recordings of you, and waive any rights to the future use of your image, by Australian Energy Producers for these purposes. 

Australian Energy Producers is concerned with the protection of your privacy. We acknowledge and abide by the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as amended. Australian Energy Producers collects and stores your personal information for the purposes of providing registration and delegate services, education and training programs, and improving and promoting products and services, and membership status in various ways. By registering for any seminar, relevant details will be held on a database by Australian Energy Producers. 

Payment 
All registrations should be accompanied by an appropriate form of payment. Australian Energy Producers accepts AMEX, MasterCard and VISA cards. All figures are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST. A tax invoice will be included with your confirmation email. Please note, delegates will not be permitted access to the seminar unless payment has been received in full by Australian Energy Producers.
